Bio

Dennis Mitchell
Dennis Mitchell was born in Portland, Oregon to a musical family. His father Ray was a country music singer. His mother Doris was a multi-instrumentalist. His brother Mike started the band “The Kingsmen”, and his sister Viva is also a beautiful vocalist.
He started his professional music career at the very young age of 10 playing lead guitar. He then expanded his talents by adding percussion, bass guitar keyboard and banjo to name just a few.
Dennis played with many professional musicians throughout his career to include: Chuck Berry, The Monkeys, Herman’s Hermits, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Cheap Trick, Three Dog Night, and many more. If you ever had a chance to talk with him, you’ve probably heard some of the many fun stories he has told of his musical adventures.
The highlight of Dennis’s career has been the experiences he’s had playing with “The Kingsmen”, which he is still a current member of the band today. They played “Louie Louie” along with 5 other top singles to sell-out crowds of over 50 thousand fans across the United States.
For the past 12 years Dennis has resided in the Rogue Valley where he has delighted audiences everywhere he plays.
7 years ago, while eating dinner at the Bella Union in Jacksonville, he heard who he thought sounded just like Rod Stewart coming from the bar. There he found Tim Mitchell performing.
He learned Tim had been playing in the Rogue Valley for over 20 years. The very next day the duo “The Mitchell Brothers“ was formed. Although they are not related by blood, they have become as close as brothers can possibly be!
They continue to perform their music, spreading joy, dancing, laughter and love for you all.
